Hammamet - GOLF CYTRUS

Over 300 cares of olive groves and natural forest have been transformed into 45 hole golf complex, consisting of two championship 18 hole courses and one compact 9 hole course. The olive course offers an enjoyable game with open fairways and few dangers.
The forest course is challenging from the start with long carries and difficult lies needing nerves of steel.

Hammamet – YASMINE GOLF

An 18 hole Ronald Fream course with wide Fairways lightning fast stepped greens and natural water obstacles.

Monastir - MONASTIR GOLF

A testing Ronald Fream Course with long holes, ravines and well placed water traps. There’s a limited bus service between the resort of Port El Kantaoui and Monastir course.

Port El Kantaoui - PORT EL-KANTAOUI GOLF

THE FACTS :
- Originally opened in 1979 with 3 x 9 hole loops.
9 new holes were added to provide 2 x 18 holes
- Panorama course - 18 hole Par 72 of 6409 metres
- Sea course - 18 hole Par 72 of 6172 metres
- Large driving range
- Practise holes plus areas for bunker & chipping
practise and putting greens.
- Spacious clubhouse with equipment shop, locker rooms, bar, restaurant and well placed sun terrace overlooking the views of the finishing water holes of the Panorama course.
- Trollies, Electric Buggies, Caddies and Clubs are available for hire.
- Weekly competitions held every Wednesday (subject to minimum number of competitions).

OUR OPINION :
The Panorama course plays the first five holes gently on fairly flat ground followed by the 6th dogleg to begin a gradual climb to spectacular views over the Mediterranean. Holes 7 to 15 take in these views and from the 15th dogleg arround a large lake with fountains back down to the lower level to play the very testing finishing holes as the 16th and 18th both take you over water and require eithes a perfect position or a brave heart to go for the green ! A great variety of the trees and shrubs including wildsage and rosemary grow on the upper levl holes making a natural habitat for the large variety of colourful birds to be seen in this location.
The Sea course encompasses 18 of the original holes with the lushnes of the fairways beig evident as a result of the maturity of the course. Although this course is mostly flat do not be fooled into thinking this is an easy course with it’s narrow greens and many hazards.
